Cookie Policy

Последње ажурирање: October 6, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Verli uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites and apps. We keep this short on purpose.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device when you visit it. They are used to remember information about your visit, such as that you are signed in or that you prefer a particular language.

Cookies and similar technologies we use

Strictly necessary — authentication

Our authentication provider Clerk sets session cookies (commonly named __session, __client_uat, and __clerk_db_jwt; the exact set depends on your Clerk version) so you stay signed in across pages. These are required for the Service to work — disabling them will sign you out.

Strictly necessary — language preference

We set a NEXT_LOCALE cookie (1-year lifetime) when you choose a language so that your selection persists across visits. You can clear it through your browser's cookie controls; we will fall back to the language your browser advertises.

Analytics

We use PostHog for limited product analytics on the website and in the desktop app. On the website, PostHog keeps a random identifier in a cookie shared by verli.app and app.verli.app and in local storage, so your visits count as one visitor. A verli_attribution cookie (1-year lifetime) records which site or campaign first and most recently brought you to Verli, and the free tools may note in local storage which tool you used. Visitors from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first: until they accept, or if they decline, analytics keeps its data in memory only and none of these are stored. A verli_consent cookie (180-day lifetime) remembers the answer. We disable autocapture and session recording and send selected page-view and product-usage events.

Cookies we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, social-media cookies, or ad trackers on our marketing site.

How to control cookies

You can change your answer about analytics cookies at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; declining after accepting deletes them. All major browsers also let you view, block, and delete cookies. Look for cookie controls in the privacy or security section of your browser's settings. Note that blocking the authentication cookies above will sign you out of the Service.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
