Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 27, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Verli uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites and apps. We keep this short on purpose.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device when you visit it. They are used to remember information about your visit, such as that you are signed in or that you prefer a particular language.

Cookies and similar technologies we use

Strictly necessary — authentication

Our authentication provider Clerk sets session cookies (commonly named __session, __client_uat, and __clerk_db_jwt; the exact set depends on your Clerk version) so you stay signed in across pages. These are required for the Service to work — disabling them will sign you out.

Strictly necessary — language preference

We set a NEXT_LOCALE cookie (1-year lifetime) when you choose a language so that your selection persists across visits. You can clear it through your browser's cookie controls; we will fall back to the language your browser advertises.

Analytics

We use PostHog in cookieless mode for limited product analytics. This helps us understand page views and app usage without setting analytics cookies, using session storage, or using local storage.

Cookies we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, social-media cookies, or ad trackers on our marketing site.

How to control cookies

All major browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies. Look for cookie controls in the privacy or security section of your browser's settings. Note that blocking the authentication cookies above will sign you out of the Service.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
